In his papal encyclical, Veritais Splendor, Saint John Paul II said "The splendor of truth shines forth in all the works of the Creator and, in a special way, in man, created in the image and likeness of God."
Image & Likeness Studio strives to create media that helps the world see humanity through the eyes of Christ.
Every human being is an illumination of God's truthful and everlasting love. Our goal is to produce photography, videography, print and web designs that promote human dignity and reflect the glorious splendor of created things.
Image & Likeness Studio was born of an idea Lauren had in 2018. She was reading through a LIFE Magazine issue of Mary, the Mother of God, when suddenly, she was filled with a great zeal and vision to create something beautiful for God - encompassing areas of art, spirituality and media. God has granted her many experiences for growth in media, spirituality and art history. From 8 years of photography, a time of Art History formation in Rome, diocesan service and two journalism/media internships with the EWTN Summer Academy at the Vatican bureau, her vision was made clear. God continued to lead her into a media missionary role with the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, deepening her call to service and creativity.
It is written in Habakkuk 2: 2-3
And the Lord answered me:
“Write the vision;
make it plain upon tablets,
so he may run who reads it.
For still the vision awaits its time;
it hastens to the end—it will not lie.
If it seem slow, wait for it;
it will surely come, it will not delay."
I am honored to be serving the living body of Christ through this new ministry: a restoration of beauty and holy vision in media. Image & Likeness Studio will strive to uphold the precepts of the church through the creation and completion of our work.
